The financial product
A private token tied to a defined portfolio. Its price follows the portfolio’s net asset value rather than a fixed currency peg.
Transaction details are revealed only to the people and systems allowed by the product rules. Operators still retain the information required to check and run the product.
Controlled product evidence
The A666 research environment exercised the complete pfUSDC sequence with recorded evidence.
The run demonstrates reserve-state, NAV, issuance, private ownership, and redemption mechanics. Production custody, legal rights, security review, and operating controls require separate approval.
Private foreign exchange
A browser wallet completed a private fixed-price exchange using a test token based on the Norwegian krone sandbox design.
This Post Fiat experiment used a fork of the Norges Bank CBDC tokenization sandbox. It carries zero official Norges Bank deployment or endorsement claim.

What the proof actually answers
The product names the reserve assets and the rule for counting them.
Every reserve, custody, and price source has an identity and a role.
Issuance is bounded by the recorded reserve and valuation rules.
The product defines the holder’s path back to the underlying value.
Fiat-backed tokens showed how large a market can form around issuer reserves and issuer trust. NAVCoins ask how much of the reserve, valuation, supply, exchange, and redemption process can become directly checkable.
The proof checks declared data and rules. Reviewers still examine asset quality, data origin, custody, legal rights, and recovery procedures.
The workbench
A Post Fiat fork of Codex that brings models, local tools, protected credentials, task history, and agent coordination into one terminal.
$ pf task run --evidence
✓ context loaded ✓ tools authorized ✓ result recordedThe contributor network
A contributor completes a defined task with AI or other tools, attaches evidence, and submits it for review. The result can affect rewards and public reputation.
With consent and quality controls, aggregate activity can inform future research and content. Direct use in reserve or NAV calculations remains a future design area.
Replayable AI governance
Governance replay means running the same recorded input, rules, and model setup again so reviewers can compare the output.
Distributed agreement
Each validator chooses whom it trusts. Cobalt uses enough overlap among those choices to help honest validators reach the same result.
The Rust workspace contains Cobalt agreement machinery and transition tests. Active registry changes still use signatures under the current authorization rules.
Three approaches to settlement
| Question | XRP Ledger | Canton | Post Fiat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main idea | Fast public value transfer and issued assets | Connected private institutional applications | Private portfolio products plus contributor and AI-governed networks |
| Privacy | Public ledger with application controls | Data shared among entitled parties | Shielded asset paths with product-specific visible data |
| Governance | Validator agreement and amendments | Operators govern applications and networks | Recorded AI recommendations, validator authorization, and Cobalt research |
| Product focus | Payments, exchange, token issuance | Regulated financial applications | NAV portfolios, private swaps, and contributor intelligence |
What could an XRP-like value network become if redesigned for AI agents, private portfolios, signatures designed to resist future quantum computers, and replayable governance?
The economic loop
More followers create more alpha. More alpha attracts more TVL. More TVL supports a higher Post Fiat market cap. A larger network makes PFT more valuable as the base layer for financial swaps. That value attracts more followers and starts the loop again.
The product horizon
Register value, issue units, hold privately, and redeem.
Atomic exchange between pfUSDC and pNOK.
Defined return streams as private stores of value.
Portfolio products connected to tokenized public markets.
Defined value for previously hard-to-track positions.
Fixed collateral and cross-exchange implementation.
AI-driven trading strategies deployed with internal capital can support treasury accumulation.
Each product needs its own asset rules, valuation sources, custody, liquidity, redemption, privacy, legal structure, and dated evidence. Any public capital or performance figure also requires management approval.
No Limit Holdings
NLH places capital into an agreed Post Fiat portfolio or strategy after reviewing assets, custody, liquidity, risk controls, fees, and redemption terms.
TVL = capital placed into the productNLH buys Post Fiat tokens under separately agreed sale terms.
